Current hub and spoke dispensing available for NHS Prescriptions
Our model, H&S dispensing is where a patient presents a prescription to a spoke pharmacy (Bottisham pharmacy and Arches pharmacy) either in person or via EPS transfer nomination from the GP practice/pharmacy nomination, and the spoke asks Hub pharmacy (Watford Pharmacy) to assemble the items. The hub only receive information about the items to be assembled. The hub then returns the assembled items to the spoke. The spoke supplies the dispensed medicines to the patient. The spoke submits the claim for the dispensed items to the NHS
